San Pablo City, Laguna – SM Foundation through its health and advocacy will conduct medical and dental mission at SM San Pablo on November 24 from 9:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon.
This health mission dubbed as “Gamot Para sa Kapwa” is a nationwide outreach program of the foundation that provides free medical and allied services to indigent families, particularly to low-income and marginalized in remote communities.
The foundation will serve San PableƱos fully equipped with its two mobile clinics which will perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures such as X-ray, urinalysis, ECG (electrocardiograph) and CBC (complete blood count), with their competent doctors, dentists, nurses and medical aides.
Aside from free medical and dental check-up, diagnosis and treatment, patient-beneficiaries will also be given prescriptive medicines donated by SM Foundations, friends and supporters. To ensure wider reach the foundation coordinates with government and non-government organizations such as Department of Social Services and Development (DSWD) and Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC).
The Foundation also partners with media entities and organizations for proper dissemination of its advocacies, as Seven Lakes Press Corps has been their media partner in the Calabarzon region on worthy projects such as Donate a Book, Share your Extras, Give Joy in Christmas and many others long before SM City San Pablo and SM City Calamba were built.
