ALL ROADS LEAD TO SM SAN PABLO, OCTOBER 1

San Pablo City- All roads will lead to SM City when SM Prime Holdings Inc. opens this 38th shopping mall along Maharlika Highway here on October 1.

This conservative city of 250,000 residents in answering the call of the times is rapidly transforming itself from agricultural based economy to booming commercial urban center delayed once upon a time by over protectionism of its wonderful people.

But now some people are saying that they’re ready and adaptable to change, along with suburban municipalities of Alaminos, Calauan, Rizal, Nagcarlan, Liliw and Victoria of Province of Laguna’s third district.

Yet the road extends far beyond to the 16 towns of the fourth district, Bay and Los BaƱos on the second, not out counting Sto Tomas and Tanauan City of Batangas, stretching down to Tiaong, Candelaria, Sariaya, San Antonio and Dolores in Quezon as it shared common path along SM City San Pablo.

Also, SM San Pablo stands ready to cater the shopping needs of travelers and motorist to or from Bicol and Visayan Region because of its strategic location.

Many says that gone are the days of long hours of trip to Baclaran, Quiapo and Divisoria for some shoppers, and tiring jet log to Hongkong, Bangkok or Singapore for the affluents as SM City brings malling phenomenon under one roof in this part of earth.

What awaits shoppers are the quality goods and merchandize as well as thoughtful service that humbly began in Carriedo’s shoe store in the 50’s, where it built a legend of reputation for SM here and abroad.

Needless to say, the long wait will be over as farm to market, feeder or municipal roads converge in a corridor network destined to a common ground, SM San Pablo, where everyone surely will get it all.
